Awards-05.png

In Klein ISD, students continually strive to achieve excellence in all areas, from academics to athletics to the arts! There are so many outstanding athletes on our teams across the district, and we celebrate these groups that achieved the state’s highest level of excellence.

Klein Collins Softball

After placing second at State and holding an emotional, makeshifting graduation ceremony on the field for their graduating seniors, the team truly became a family. Their many achievements as a group contributed to the team being voted the 2019 Softball Team of the Year, we well as Kenedy Hinese named Pitcher of the Year by VYPE Magazine.

Klein Forest Track

On May 11, the Klein Forest Track & Field team made history. They scored a collective 42 team points to claim the program’s and Klein ISD’s first-ever State Championship team title. These young men know the power of sacrifice, as multiple teammates decided to forgo individual races in regionals and area meets in order to chase team glory. They have truly proven that they will do whatever it takes to succeed.

Klein Forest Basketball

Klein Forest Basketball advanced to the 6A state finals in March 2019. Many of these young started their basketball careers together at Wunderlich and Klein Intermediates, and it’s only fitting that they are the 6th Houston-area team to advance to the state boys basketball tournament out of Region II in the last 20 years. The team is known for their heart, their drive, and their dedication to the game and one another.
